The 'Secret' Room

While in the Secret Room, you will enjoy the King Sized Mission-Style bed. In fact, the "Secret" Guest Room has been decorated to capture the signature "look" of the Arts and Crafts Mission Style of the early 1920's - clean lines, rich wood tones and casual comfort.

The Secret Room is a room that amazes everyone because it is entered by going through a secret door which takes you to a secret passageway which then opens up into the large Secret Room! The room is generous in size and the King size bed is wonderfully comfortable with a pillow top mattress and luxurious bedding. The luxury continues in the beautifully tiled private bathroom.

Relax in the overstuffed chair and ottoman for two and watch a movie, or read a book while you enjoy a fire in the fireplace (available all year). If you rise early enough - watch a sunrise from this chair. At your request, the overstuffed chair can be converted to an extra sleeping arrangement, including a pillow-top mattress, for a modest additional fee.

Besides the secret entryway and passageway, there are other secrets in the room, but we'll not tell you what they are so when you stay here, you can find them yourself!

The Secret Room features luxurious linens, top of the line spa ameninities, a wonderful all season fireplace, and two skylights that open for a wonderful balmy breeze.

Out the door on the far side of the room you have your own private balcony with steps down into our Gardens and the swimming pool. The balcony overlooks the Garden Scale Railroad garden, the private and equally hidden Tapestry Garden, and a lawn leading down to the Mission - style pergola.
