Mardi Gras masks adorn the walls that are from actual Mardi Gras celebrations. The collection has been augmented by guests who periodically send us more masks to put on display!

"I've never been to Mardi Gras, never been to New Orleans, but the room is exquisite! I certainly appreciate the juxtaposition of such a room amidst the cows grazing in the field outside the window, and the Blue Mountains beyond. The inn is described by the keepers as 'elegant' - it is quite elegant. The whole place is fantastic. 21 May: We leave. Certainly the place wanted us to stay longer (that is to say: I wish we could.) Breakfast was elegant too, and our fellow guests were delightful."
