Announcing New Cooking Class Season! Cooking Schools Hershey, Hershey B&B

ANNOUNCING SEASON II OF THE ACCLAIMED CHEF© COOKING CLASS SERIES

For the second year in a row, Rosalie is bringing in several Acclaimed Chefs©  to teach a cooking class for our guests and area residents.  All of our chefs are highly regarded in their field, and many have made a substantial name for themselves, such as Chef Valenti, who was a chef for President Ford, Jackie Onassis, European business leaders and celebrities, and who created an extravagant meal for the entire New York Jets football team!

Last year’s Acclaimed Chef Cooking Class© was so successful, (as measured by achieving our goals of learning skills and techniques, recipes and having a grand time) and those who came were so pleased, that we have decided to make our cooking classes an annual event, to be held every year during the Annville Inn Secret Season©

Here is how the class series works: You can take the class as a couple, or just one of you can take the class while the other relaxes at the Inn or goes out on an adventure, such as golfing, hiking, or shopping.

The classes are participatory. Not just a lecture.  Everyone is chopping, slicing, dicing, helping, tasting.  We taste a lot! Here is the layout:  Arrive on (usually) a Friday night, and enjoy a delicious wine and cheese reception to meet your Chef.

The next morning, wake up to a gourmet break-

fast and enjoy the morning on your  own.

Then, be ready at 1:00 PM to assemble in the Inn’s kitchen to begin your Cooking Class.  Get involved in the whole process as you prepare a gourmet dinner with your chef.  The class will be at least four to five hours of tasty fun!

Later Saturday evening, after the class has concluded, you will have time to refresh and prepare to sit down to a gourmet dinner with wine,  served to you in our Inn’s dining room, created by you and the Chef—what a terrific evening!   Sunday morning, another gourmet candlelit breakfast!

This memorable cullinary experience includes:

  • > Our Meet and Greet Your Chef Wine & Cheese Reception
  • > The cooking class instruction with your Chef
  • > An Annville Inn embroidered apron
  • > Photograph of you with your chef
  • > A folder with all the recipes and the menu
  • > And the gourmet dinner–all for $165.00 each plus your accommodations for a two night stay.

And, you have the benefit of being able to take home your new knowledge, but best of all—you’ll always remember your fun time at the cooking class.  That is why we already have guests enrolled in Season II  who were participants in Season I of the Annville Inn Acclaimed Chef Cooking Class Series!

SCHEDULE

(Three definite dates, plus a number of custom dates available)

February 10th & 11th, 2012~~ The Chefs DeNoia!  Chefs Sam and Gina DeNoia will entertain you and keep you busy cooking as they create a French masterpiece with your assistance.  They met as students of Julia Child and Jacques Peppin’s French Culinary Institute, and fell in love with one another and French cuisine all at once.

You will enjoy your time thinking you are in Paris as you create one savory French dish after another!  This will be a most delicious memorable experience not to miss! They amazed their students last year and we are pleased they are set to do it again.

March  23 & 24, 2012~~Chef Lisa Linton and Chef John Bozcih will bring their combined expertise to our Inn for their fabulous Pizza and Pasta cooking class.  Chef Lisa was featured on the Today Show with Matt Lauer, the Food Network, and many other locations.   Chef Lisa will be joined by her fiancé, Chef John Bozcih.  Chef John served our country in the military and then became a culinary school graduate where he and Chef Lisa met.  Chef John has been a chef at numerous high-end restuarants. Together, they will lead their class though the secrets of crafting pizza, from the home made crusts, sauces and toppings to innovative ways to present the pie!  The pasta they create from scratch will be the best as nothing beats homemade pastas!   For a memorable and tasty finish you will learn to create a dessert pizza!

April 19th and 20th, 2012~~Chef Robert Valenti!  Chef Bob was our inaugural Chef at our first Acclaimed Chef Cooking Class series last year, and our guests requested him to return a second time in the same season.  This April will be Chef Valenti’s third class with us—after you have completed this delectable experience, you will know all about Italian cuisine. “I’m going to pull out all the stops for this class,” Bob tells us.  We can’t wait!

We are fortunate because along with Chef Bob is his lovely and sweet wife, Angela.  She is an amazing right hand to him, helping him prepare all the planning for our cooking class.  If you were fortunate to be in one of Chef Bob’s other classes, you know you don’t want to miss his return.
