Annville Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in central Pennsylvania in the heart of the lush Lebanon Valley, surrounded by wonderful farmland and the Blue Mountains. The sprawling 7,000 square foot home, nestled on three acres of beautiful countryside, was built by General Bruce Kendall, Quartermaster of the U.S. Army, in 1986. The Inn was originally the General's home and the headquarters for his varied interests. The soundproof theatre where we now enjoy movies was once his specialty workshop for working on clocks and timepieces. In Annville Inn, you will find a variety of interesting and antique clocks from our own private clock collection.
Rosalie George, your Innkeeper, and her husband, Craig, purchased this handsome home in July of 2005, and immediately began refurbishing and fixing the place up, changing it from a private home to a Bed and Breakfast. Virtually every part of every room has been re-created to provide the ultimate Bed & Breakfast experience and guest comforts.
Craig and Rosalie were in the portrait business, working together, in Oklahoma until moving to Washington, DC in the late 1980's. Rosalie's favorite past time and hobby has always been entertaining, studying cookbooks, attending a variety of cooking schools and preparing wonderful dishes. She puts our grand kitchen, resplendent with Thermador professional equipment, through its paces in order to provide our guests with culinary excellence. Rosalie is known throughout our circle of friends and family as having "that Rosalie Touch."
Craig is an avid gardener, rosarian, outdoor sportsman, and photographer. He has created personal portraits of two U.S. Presidents, many athletes, business and military leaders and families through his two photography studios in the Southwest. Besides Craig's love of gardening and photography, whenever opportunity affords him, he has a backpack on his back and is hiking in the woods or along a mountain range or rafting on the river with his buddies.
With a history of enjoying being guests of many inns around the country, Rosalie and Craig developed a sincere interest and desire to become innkeepers and have their own bed and breakfast. For many years, this was just a "talked about" dream. Then ideas went on paper, and now the dream is a reality. Rosalie studied the inn business for over a decade before embarking upon a career as an Innkeeper, and has put her research and that famous "Rosalie Touch" to work for her guests. She and Craig have created Annville Inn Bed & Breakfast, where the slightest details are all cared for under her watchful eye. She strives to live up to the family's motto for all they attempt to do in life:
"The difference between good and great is a little extra effort."
Annville Inn features five unique guest rooms, each with a private bath.

"This was our first stay here and we're sad to leave! Everything about this place is wonderful. What you've done with a home that you told us was in disrepair when you purchased it is incredible! We both love our guest room and stayed impressed through the entire visit! Thank you for your hospitality, the wonderful food, your endless suggestions, and opening your lives to your guests. After the grand tour, I know we'll need to come back to experience a touch of Brittan, the heart of Santa Fe or a voyage through my favorite book case"
